iPhone 7 repair

I’ve had this phone since 2016. It was passed on to my wife, who used it for a long time, and I’ve already replaced the battery once.

Finally, when Pam got a newer phone, she passed this onto my daughter, who was using it for a couple of years until she broke the screen :frowning:

This is my first time replacing an iPhone screen. I’ve done a bunch of batteries with no problem, though. It took about 45 minutes in total, because I had to remove the Touch ID, ambient light sensor, camera, speaker, etc. from the broken screen.

Anyway, here are some photos of me fixing it.

Now that it’s working, it’s going to be a backup phone (in case the kids break another phone :frowning: and it will be as a controller to to fly my drones :slight_smile:
